I wanna make you solr solr solr

Oh my days. Your search is so hot right now, it’s really hitting your site hard but you can’t afford another delivery server man.

Lets farm it all out to Solr olr olr yeah eh eh, lets farm it all out to Solr olr olr yeah eh eh.

You switch it in dev, search no worky.

Turns out you forgot to change the field names (you’re using the default naming for indexed fields).

my_string_field becomes my_string_field_s

my_bool_field becomes my_bool_field_b

Sorted!

If you’re using the default Solr configuration – these are the postfixes:

guidCollection = _sm
stringCollection = _sm
intCollection = _im
guid = {0}_s
id = _s
shortid = _s
text = _t
string = _s
int = _tl
bool = {0}_b
datetime = _tdt
long = _tl
float = _tf
double = _td
stringArray = _sm
intArray = _im
datetimeArray = _dtm
datetimeCollection = _dtm
